Community Partners

The Dayton Street Opportunity Center provides a number of services designed to improve the health, educational and economic outcomes of children, youth and families living in Aurora, Colorado.

The center will host the following organizations that will provide the following services:

Partners Service provided at the Dayton Opportunity Center
Colorado State University Provides a variety of resources for college and career planning. Students and adults can obtain information on two and four year colleges and universities, testing and test preparation, financial aid and scholarships, career possibilities and college majors.
The Field’s Foundation Provide patient care coordination for children with chronic disease and teen mothers pregnant with their second child, enrollment into the Affordable Care Act and Food StampsProvide test preparation and tutoring for standardized tests including; GED, Accuplacer, SAT, ACT, NCLEX, CNA exam, math, science and writing


Provide safe and well maintained drop-in learning environment for youth between the ages of 14-20 before and after school


Provide mentoring, job placement and workforce training programs for youth between the ages of 16-24

University of Colorado Medical Center and Primary Care Progress The DAWN Clinic will provide primary care health access for uninsured adults by collaborating with the University of Colorado Anschutz faculty and trainees from the Departments of Medicine, Family Medicine, Psychiatry, Radiology, Physical Medicine, every University of Colorado health professional school, and the University of Denver Graduate School of Psychology
Mosaic Church of Aurora Faith based outreach and immigration services
Servicios De La Raza Provide and advocate for culturally responsive, essential human services including, domestic violence and victim support groups, HIV testing and support services, medical assistance site
Children’s Hospital Colorado Provide funding to support for center operations
